As a member of WJA, Garfield Refining is proud to partner with the Women’s Jewelry Association organization this month to amplify women’s voices and unique contributions to the jewelry industry. March is officially recognized as Women’s History Month and March 8th was International Women’s Day. The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) is celebrating women in the jewelry industry this month with its March is Me campaign.
The March is Me campaign is to empower women to purchase jewelry for themselves. More women have been buying their own jewelry over the past decade, according to WJA, but some women still hesitate to celebrate themselves with a fine jewelry purchase.
WJA’s national campaign (which runs through March 31st) has garnered several corporate partners, such as the American Gem Society, Forevermark, and Natural Diamond Council.
Empowering women
Garfield Refining is excited to join these corporate partners in this important national marketing campaign that empowers women. Garfield’s Director of Sales, Melissa Polis, was featured in an interview with WJA earlier this month on its Instagram page, where she discussed how Garfield supports women in the workplace and equal rights.
Throughout the month, follow Garfield on its social media channels and look out for our posts for March is Me. Feel free to use the hashtags #MarchIsMeMonth #CelebrateYou,#LiveBeautifully, and #WomensJewelryAssociation, and repost and share content from Garfield’s and WJA’s page.
