Founded in 1892, Garfield is a family-owned precious metal refinery in Northeast Philadelphia serving dental professionals throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

Hosted annually by Dentaltown Magazine, the Townie Choice Awards give dentists an opportunity to vote for the products, equipment, and services they trust the most to keep their practices running smoothly. The program compiles a comprehensive list of peer-recommended vendors, providing a valuable resource for both new and experienced dentists in selecting trusted partners.
While the Townie Choice Awards first began back in 2003, ‘Best Scrap Metal Refiner’ wasn’t added as a category until 2011. Garfield has won the award every year since it was added, and we’re honored to be recognized year after year as the leading scrap refiner in the dental industry!
