We accept dental scrap, jewelry, sterling silver scrap, coins/bullion, and pre-1964 currency coins. We do not accept raw gold or ore (found in nature) materials. There is no minimum or maximum amount of material to ship to Garfield at one time.
All material received is refined (melted) and analyzed on-site in our assay laboratory.
Upon receiving your shipment, our processing time usually takes 1-2 days. We offer several payment options to choose from. You can opt in for a check (5-10 business days), direct deposit (1-3 business days) or exchange your value for a selection of coins/bullion (7-10 business days).
We offer free and insured shipping via FedEx and UPS. If using a USPS label, insurance can be added at your local post office for an additional charge. If you would like to request a FedEx or UPS label, please feel free to contact us.
Once your shipment is received, we will send you a confirmation email alerting you that your precious metals have arrived at our facility. You can also call our customer service line (888) 677-9254 to get updates on the status of your shipment.
Garfield’s 24K Guarantee assures your satisfaction if you choose not to sell your gold, silver, platinum or palladium scrap with us. If for any reason, other than market conditions, you choose not to accept our offer, simply call (800) 523-0968 within ten business days from the date of your check and we will gladly return your materials in its processed form.
